Ben parvey

As CEO of BlueSky Power, Ben Parvey has spent his professional career building a clean, resilient energy future for cities, schools, industry, and institutions. Ben is passionate about nurturing a collaborative culture to create a world without wires where microgrids and distributed energy serve as the utility alternative.

For 15 years, Ben has overseen the implementation of the innovative finance structures and transactional elements of Blue Sky’s clean energy projects, in addition to advancing the strategic growth of the company. Ben’s passion for taking customers off the grid by creating innovative projects has led to over $300 Million of clean energy projects for leading companies and institutions. In 2017, Blue Sky Power achieved the Energy Solutions Center’s Project of the Year Award for a clean energy microgrid.

As the leader of institutional-scale clean energy projects, Ben and BlueSky Power assess all options to develop resilient and sustainable solutions to lower energy costs, modernize aging and inefficient infrastructure, and avoid power outages. Ben is zealous about improving the quality of life for his team, their customers and their communities.  

Prior to starting BlueSky Power in 2008, Ben was a public finance attorney on over $4 Billion of capital project financings for state and local governments, institutions and industrial development. With 5 crazy kids ranging from 1-14, Ben has an active and exciting family life and loves spending time with them, as well as meditating, hiking, watching sunrises and doing yoga. 

 

Dana Hall

The founder of the Law Offices of Dana Hall, LLC, - newly rebranded as Hudson Energy Law, a boutique energy law firm assisting businesses, nonprofits and governments in the clean energy sector since 2008. Among a broad range of clients with clean energy sector interests, Dana is Board Secretary and Counsel for Mid-Hudson Energy Transition, a not-for-profit community choice aggregation administrator offering innovative and equitable clean energy programs in New York State. Prior roles include General Counsel for Core Development Group, a solar, storage and EV infrastructure developer, and Deputy Director of the Low Impact Hydropower Institute, a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to reducing the impacts of hydropower generation.

Dana began her legal career with the Pace Energy and Climate Center in White Plains, NY and has taught environmental and climate law related classes at Purchase College energy policy classes at The Cooper Union School of Continuing Education, Green Building Design Program.

In addition to clean energy, Dana devotes significant time to the music sector representing artists in business transactions to afford a dignified life. She is the manager of her husband, Bill Ware, an accomplished jazz vibraphonist, composer, music engineer and producer, as well as the Jazz Passengers, an avante garde jazz ensemble founded in 1987 by Roy Nathanson and Curtis Fowlkes. Dana also serves as Executive Director for Jazz Passengers Music Projects, Inc., a non-profit organization offering innovative programs to underserved youth and is a proud mother of two young men finding their way in the world.
