Daniel Hason

Daniel approaches real estate as a way to connect people to place and to foster a deeply meaningful experience of home. He is a community builder and connector, and is enlivened by the nexus of regenerative philosophy, and actions required to bring forth the work of regenerative real estate.

Daniel was born and raised between Little Neck Queens and the East Village where he assisted his father in property management. After four years of studying Organizational Communication nestled under the Shawangunk Mountains he became a full-time resident in the Hudson Valley and has called Columbia County his home for the last decade.

Prior to his real estate career, Daniel managed a biodynamic farm, explored community living, installed alternative energy systems, and did the slow and attentive work of restoring historic properties.

As a real estate professional, Daniel handles contracts, negotiations, sophisticated marketing and storytelling, and holds a deep understanding of the region's culture and market forces. In addition to the traditional services of a licensed realtor, Daniel's continued education and life experiences have given him an understanding of permaculture ethics, net-zero/positive design, decarbonization, housing and land access, equity models, historic restoration, land stewardship, and pre-development design.

Daniel was the first Change Agent with Latitude and is a steadfast co-creator of what Regenerative Real Estate is in practice. He has taken leadership roles both within the Latitude real estate community and on the ground in the Hudson Valley. He enjoys facilitating the collective inquiry of regenerative real estate and finds great meaning here.

Daniel’s work in the Hudson Valley has revolved around the intersection between development of its region's ecology, community, beauty, and the built environment. His monthly “Regen-RE” meetings gather regional stakeholders, investors, municipal workers, citizens, permaculturists, business and systems thinkers to explore what is most vital in the field of regeneration and real estate.
